On the edge of the Atlantic, in a Ga fishing village…

where whispers secrets, lives Dromo — a blind girl whose world is shaped by sound and spirit. Her mother, Ayeley, shields her from the cruel laughter of neighbors, while her cousins, Amon and Nii, offer loyalty and laughter. But one festival night, the ordinary fractures: a strange star pierces the sky. The villagers see only darkness. Dromo sees light —blinding, radiant — and hears the rustle of wings. An angelic presence. Her vision shakes the village priest to his core. How can a blind child see what he cannot?

Far across deserts and towns, somewhere near Jerusalem, a boy named Adar stumbles over words yet speaks of wonders. Angels proclaim the birth of a Messiah, and Adar hears their song. His mother believes. His father fears. In their home, faith and doubt wrestle like shadows at dawn. Years pass. Dromo, now a woman of unyielding resolve, follows the echo of that star — a light she glimpsed decades ago. Her path winds through peril: whispers of prophecy among desert nomads, treacherous courts in Garamantes, and the gaze of Queen Ashira, whose crown gleams as sharp as her questions. Loyalty will be tested. Courage weighed. And as the journey nears its end, one question burns brighter than the star itself: Did the star lead them to a promise fulfilled… or to a reality that shatters everything they believe.
