I’m G.T. Imoru — though friends and family still call me Gloria. I’m a Gospel artist and storyteller based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I grew up in a pastor’s home, where mornings often began with worship music and prayer. Those early sounds left a deep mark on me. They shaped not just my love for singing, but also how I experience God — through reverence, reflection, and creative expression.

Worship has always been home to me, and today I serve as a worship leader with the Voices of Praise team at the Church of Pentecost here in Winnipeg. I enjoy exploring different styles of Gospel music, especially when they create space for both awe and intimacy with God.

My debut single, Holy, released in January 2024, was inspired by the picture of worship in heaven after Jesus ascended — and the question it left me with: How do we respond here on Earth? That reflection still fuels much of what I write and sing.

While I occasionally record, I’m most drawn to live moments — the kind of worship you feel in the room, where hearts open, stories are shared, and heaven doesn’t feel so far away. If you want to get to know the music, I invite you to experience it live.

Outside of music, I’m often creating — whether in film, theatre, or painting quietly at home. I also enjoy the simple things: aquariums, long walks, good stories, and fresh air.
