ABOUT US

ABOUT US
Yélodo Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to healing in real life. We create trauma‑informed gatherings, workshops, and community experiences that support immigrants, parents, young adults, and faith‑based communities with practical tools for emotional wellness and resilience. Guided by Christian values of compassion and dignity, we design spaces where people can breathe, feel seen, and explore the stories behind their struggles without judgment.
We partner with community leaders, recovery agencies, and mental‑health practitioners to unpack how trauma shows up in everyday roles — at home, at work, in relationships, and in faith spaces. Every program is built to be accessible, grounding, and deeply human.
VALUES
-
Healing That Meets Real Life — support that speaks to everyday pressures.
-
Community as Strength — because no one should carry their story alone.
-
Trauma‑Informed Care — understanding the stories behind the struggle.
-
Honest Conversations — healing grows when truth has room to speak.
Yélodo is built on real‑life healing — through compassion, trauma‑informed care, and the strength we build together. Guided by gentle Christian values, we create spaces where people can breathe and know they’re not alone.
MISSION AND VISION
Yélodo exists to hold space with care, respect, and gentle faith‑inspired values, offering trauma‑informed support that meets people in the realities of their everyday lives.
We are building a world where individuals and families — especially immigrants, parents, and young adults — have safe, culturally aware spaces to heal, grow, and build emotionally healthy communities.
OUR HISTORY
Yélodo began with intimate community gatherings designed to help people feel less alone in a new culture. Our first events — a women’s roundtable now known as The Queen’s Circle, and The King’s Square for young adult men — created safe spaces to talk about motherhood, identity, brotherhood, and the challenges of starting over.
As we grew, we expanded into programs that nurture mental wellness, resilience, and community connection through a gentle, faith‑inspired approach. Early initiatives like Thankful Tuesdays and Wellness Wednesdays helped us reach people beyond our events, offering simple practices of gratitude and emotional care.
Today, Yélodo continues to evolve into a trauma‑informed nonprofit committed to creating spaces where immigrants, parents, young adults, and faith communities can breathe, heal, and thrive together.
